Signet collects no data about you. Your documents, signatures and settings stay on your iPhone.
Signet is an e-signature and PDF tool that works entirely on your device. The app makes no network requests, has no accounts or servers, and uses no third-party SDKs. In particular:
Documents, signatures, stamps and settings are stored in the app’s own storage on this iPhone, protected by iOS Data Protection. Deleting the app removes them. You can delete any document or signature inside the app at any time.
Signet asks only when you first use a feature that needs a permission, and you can decline; declining only turns that feature off.
The Home Screen widgets and the “Share to Signet” extension exchange data with Signet through an App Group on the same device. Nothing goes over the network. Widgets show document names by default; you can turn that off in Settings.
A backup is a file (.signetbackup) that you export yourself, encrypted with a password you choose (AES-256-GCM). The password is not stored and we cannot recover it; without it a backup cannot be restored. Where the file goes is up to you through the iOS share sheet, and from there it is handled by the app or service you chose.
When you send a signed document to LINE, Mail or another app through the share sheet, the file goes to the app you picked and is covered by that app’s privacy policy. Signet never sends files on your behalf.
If you allow “Share With App Developers” in iOS, Apple may give developers anonymous, aggregated crash or usage statistics. Apple collects that data, it contains nothing that identifies you, and it is not collected by Signet.
Signet collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
If a future version changes how data is handled (for example by adding sync), we will update this page with a new effective date first, and explain significant changes inside the app.
